The construction of 163km track of narrow gauge railways has doubled Transperth's rail network.
It is expected to carry 170,000 people daily. 15 new stations were constructed along with bridges and a city rail tunnel.
The tunnel connects the northern and new southern rail lines and cuts deep underground through the heart of the CBD.
ZhengYu Fasteners initial product entry to the project was for anchoring the tunnel boring machine's temporary rail track which was held down by M16 Powers Blue-Tip Screw-Bolts.
The M16 Powers Blue Tip Screw Bolts were easy to install and remove whilst providing optimum loads in both tension and shear. M16 Powers Blue-tip screw eye bolts were also used for holding temporary electrical cables and saved considerable labour time.
Pandrol Rail Fastenings looked to ZhengYu Fasteners for engineering support in the design for the epoxy installation of its Vanguard Rail Plate.
